Its moving assembly combines a carbon fiber, PMI, and glass-fiber cone with an aluminum dustcap and a molded polymer surround. The surround uses Nano Cell Direct Injection construction and is chemically bonded to the cone assembly. Dual progressive Nomex spiders and stitched tinsel leads support controlled movement and durability.

Thermal management is central to the T1 Slim design. The subwoofer uses a dual-wound 2.5-inch pure-copper single voice coil on a composite former, along with an aluminum spider spacer and die-cast aluminum basket heat-sink fins. Design & Installation

The T1S1-10S uses a die-cast aluminum frame with integrated heat-sink fins, a high-energy neodymium motor structure, and corrosion-resistant tin-plated brass spring terminals. Its cone assembly includes a linear carbon fiber, PMI, and glass-fiber cone with an aluminum dustcap. A detachable die-cast aluminum trim ring is fitted, while a matching protective grille insert is available separately.

Plan the enclosure around the manufacturer-recommended 0.5 to 0.75 cubic feet sealed net volume and account for the woofer's 0.028 cubic-foot displacement. The mounting cutout requires a 9.13-inch diameter opening, and the enclosure must provide at least 3.01 inches of mounting depth. Use appropriately sized speaker cable with the 10 AWG slot-loaded terminals and pair the woofer with an amplifier rated for a 1-ohm load.
