Rockford Fosgate RZR24XP-STG1 6.5" RZR XP Audio Kit

The Rockford Fosgate RZR24XP-STG1 is a vehicle-specific Stage 1 front audio system for select 2024 and newer Polaris RZR XP models. It combines a PMX-1 Bluetooth digital media receiver with two 6.5-inch M0 coaxial speakers in custom-fit front enclosures. The kit is designed for riders who want integrated music playback without giving up useful cabin space.

The PMX-1 receiver supplies the system's 100-watt internal amplification rating and provides Bluetooth audio streaming, AM/FM/weather-band radio, USB, and rear auxiliary connectivity. Its gauge-mount format and 2.3-inch dot-matrix display place primary music controls within reach of the driver. A built-in voltage gauge with low-voltage warning adds useful vehicle-monitoring information.

Two black M0-65B Element Ready 6.5-inch coaxial speakers handle front-stage playback. Their mineral-filled polypropylene cones, Santoprene surrounds, and grille-integrated balanced-dome tweeters are intended to maintain clear midrange and high-frequency output in open-cabin riding conditions. Each speaker is rated for 65 watts RMS power handling and uses a 4-ohm impedance.

The kit uses vehicle-specific driver- and passenger-side front speaker enclosures, plus a dash kit for the PMX-1 receiver. These components are shaped to integrate with the RZR XP interior while retaining passenger room. A pre-terminated PMX wiring harness with OEM-style connectors supports a cleaner installation than a universal audio build.

RZR24XP-STG1 provides a foundation for a broader Rockford Fosgate RZR XP audio upgrade. The PMX-1 includes front, rear, and subwoofer RCA outputs, while the kit is designed to support the later addition of two rear speakers. This makes it suitable for starting with front audio and expanding the system as listening needs change.

Design & Installation

The PMX-1 has an IPX6-rated front panel, wet-bonded tempered-glass display, and Element Ready construction for outdoor use. The M0-65B speakers use UV-stable ASA plastic frames and grilles, sealed motors, marine-grade brass terminals, and UV- and salt-fog-resistant Santoprene surrounds. Custom front enclosures are designed around the RZR XP interior rather than using exposed universal speaker pods.

The package includes the PMX wiring harness, PMX dash-kit hardware, receiver bracket, driver and passenger front speaker enclosures, and associated mounting hardware. It uses OEM-style connectors and OEM mounting locations, although minimal drilling may be required depending on the installation.
