Rockford Fosgate RNGR18-STG6 6.5"/10" Ranger Audio Kit

The Rockford Fosgate RNGR18-STG6 is a Stage 6 audio upgrade package engineered for select 2018-2022 Polaris Ranger XP 1000 full-size models. It combines a dash-integrated digital media receiver, four 6.5-inch speakers, a 10-inch subwoofer, a five-channel amplifier, lighting control, and Ranger-specific installation hardware. The package is intended for Ranger owners seeking a complete, matched audio system rather than sourcing individual components separately.

The system uses two pairs of M2-65B 6.5-inch Color Optix coaxial speakers in dedicated front and rear Ranger enclosures. Their 40 Hz-24 kHz frequency response and 1-inch dome tweeters support clear full-range playback for music, radio, and Bluetooth audio. A 10-inch M2D4-10IB Color Optix subwoofer in the included under-seat enclosure adds low-frequency output for a more complete listening range.

At the center of the system is the PMX-3 compact digital media receiver, mounted through the included RNGR18-DK dash kit. It provides AM/FM/weather-band tuning, Bluetooth audio, USB, and auxiliary connectivity through a 2.7-inch color TFT display. The receiver also supports Pandora control, is backup-camera ready, and is SiriusXM-ready.

The included M5-1500X5 five-channel amplifier powers the speaker and subwoofer sections from one Element Ready chassis. Its four full-range channels are rated at 100 watts RMS each, while its subwoofer channel is rated at 400 watts RMS at 4 ohms or 600 watts RMS at 2 ohms. Built-in PRESET settings are designed to simplify setup when the amplifier is used in compatible Rockford Fosgate stage-system applications.

Color Optix lighting is managed by the included PMX-RGB controller, allowing the speaker and subwoofer lighting to be coordinated through the compatible lighting system. The vehicle-specific enclosures and harnesses are designed around factory mounting locations to reduce fabrication work. Rear-speaker installation requires a Polaris Ranger Poly Roof, with or without the Premium Roof Liner.

Design & Installation

The RNGR18-STG6 uses Element Ready components intended for outdoor motorsports use. The M2 speakers use mineral-filled polypropylene cones, UV- and salt-fog-resistant TPE surrounds, sealed crossover networks, and RGB lighting assemblies. The Ranger speaker enclosures are injection-molded, UV-inhibited, and textured to complement the vehicle interior.

Confirm vehicle fitment before ordering, especially whether the Ranger is a compatible XP 1000 full-size three-seat or six-seat model. The PMX-3 installs with the included dash kit, while the front and rear speakers use dedicated enclosures and the amplifier uses the included RNGR18-K8 installation hardware. A Polaris Ranger Poly Roof is required for the rear speaker enclosures, and the amplifier installation should use the specified fused power connection and 4 AWG wiring capacity.
