The Rockford Fosgate RNGR18-STG2 is a vehicle-specific Stage 2 audio kit for select 2018-2022 Polaris Ranger XP 1000 full-size and Crew models. It adds a dash-mounted PMX-1 digital media receiver plus four 6.5-inch M0 marine-grade speakers in dedicated front and rear enclosures. The package is intended for Ranger owners who want a complete, integrated audio upgrade rather than assembling individual components.

The PMX-1 receiver provides Bluetooth streaming along with USB and rear RCA auxiliary inputs for music playback. Its internal four-channel amplifier supplies 25 watts RMS to each channel at 4 ohms, matching the four included speakers for a straightforward system layout. AM, FM, and weather-band tuning are also built in for riders who want broadcast-radio access.

Two pairs of black M0-65B 6.5-inch coaxial speakers handle front and rear coverage. Each speaker uses a mineral-filled polypropylene cone, Santoprene surround, grille-integrated balanced-dome tweeter, and sealed crossover network. This combination is designed for full-range playback in exposed marine and powersports environments.

The included RNGR18-DK dash kit integrates the receiver into the Ranger dashboard, while the RNGR18-FSE and RNGR18-RSE enclosures position the speakers in the front lower and rear upper areas. The vehicle-specific mounting approach uses factory mounting locations where applicable and includes the necessary enclosure wiring and mounting hardware. Rear speaker installation requires a Polaris Ranger poly roof, with or without the Premium Roof Liner.

For expansion-minded systems, the PMX-1 includes 4-volt front and rear RCA outputs, with the rear output configurable as a line output or subwoofer output. Its onboard 7-band EQ, selectable crossover settings, and Punch EQ adjustment allow the system to be tailored for the vehicle and listening preference. The RNGR18-STG2 can therefore serve as a complete four-speaker upgrade or as the source platform for a later amplified system.

The PMX-1 uses a 2.3-inch full-dot-matrix LCD behind Gorilla Glass, while the M0-65B speakers use UV-stable ASA plastic frames and grilles, sealed motor assemblies, and marine-grade connection terminals. The molded Ranger enclosures are designed to complement the vehicle interior and locate the included 6.5-inch speakers in purpose-built front lower and rear upper positions. Speaker grilles are included and mounted on the M0-65B speakers.

Install the system only on a confirmed compatible Ranger model and follow the supplied vehicle-specific instructions. The front enclosures mount in dedicated factory-location areas, while the rear enclosures attach at the roof and require a Polaris Ranger poly roof; minor headliner cutting may be needed to open the pre-embossed speaker locations. The kit includes the PMX-1, dash kit, two speaker pairs, front and rear enclosure pairs, wiring provisions, and mounting hardware; no separate amplifier is required to operate the supplied four speakers.
