The enclosures are sold empty, allowing the system to be matched with the speakers and electronics preferred for the vehicle.

These enclosures are intended for Yamaha YXZ owners who want a more integrated speaker upgrade than universal pods or improvised mounting solutions. They locate speakers in the front lower area while using factory mounting locations for a clean, purpose-built fit. The pair is designed to house one compatible speaker per enclosure.

Because the RFYXZ-FSE is an enclosure set rather than a powered audio component, its sound character is determined by the speakers, amplifier, and source unit installed with it. Its sealed enclosure design provides a defined mounting environment for compatible Rockford Fosgate marine speakers. This makes it a practical foundation for a staged YXZ audio upgrade.

The enclosures use compression-molded fiberglass-reinforced polymer construction with a UV-resistant finish. Their texture and color are matched to the vehicle interior, helping the installation retain an OEM-style appearance. Rockford Fosgate also rates the product IPX6 for water intrusion and identifies it as Element Ready for motorsports exposure.

The RFYXZ-FSE works with select Rockford Fosgate Prime Marine RM0652, RM0652B, RM1652, and RM1652B speakers, as well as Punch Marine PM2652 and PM2652B speakers. It can be used as part of a front-speaker addition or within a broader Yamaha YXZ audio system. Speakers, source equipment, amplification, and any vehicle-specific system components are purchased separately.

Design & Installation

The RFYXZ-FSE includes two sealed black enclosures with a texture- and color-matched finish intended to complement the Yamaha YXZ interior. Compression-molded fiberglass-reinforced polymer construction combines rigidity with outdoor-oriented durability. The enclosures are IPX6 water-intrusion rated and ASTM B117/D4329 tested.

Installation uses factory mounting locations but requires minimal disassembly and some drilling. The package includes two speaker wire harnesses, two bolts, two nuts, two self-adhesive foam pads, six wire ties, and an installation manual. Install compatible speakers separately, then select source and amplification equipment appropriate for the speakers being used.
