The Rockford Fosgate RFRNGR-FSE is a pair of unloaded 6.5-inch front lower speaker enclosures made for select Polaris Ranger models. They provide dedicated mounting locations for compatible marine-grade speakers in the vehicle's lower front kick-panel area. Speakers are not included, allowing the system to be tailored to the desired speaker model and power setup.

These enclosures are intended for Ranger owners building or expanding a vehicle-specific audio system without using universal pods or consuming passenger space. Their optimized sealed design gives compatible speakers a purpose-built mounting environment. The pair installs below the dash against the vehicle firewall.

Because the RFRNGR-FSE is an unloaded enclosure set, its sound character depends on the speakers, amplification, and source unit selected for the system. It is designed for use with compatible Rockford Fosgate PM and RM series speakers. This makes it a practical foundation for a staged Ranger audio upgrade.

The enclosure design is texture and color matched to the vehicle interior for an integrated appearance. A roto-molded construction is used for a lightweight, seamless enclosure design suited to powersports use. The sealed format also helps keep the installation organized in the lower front cabin area.

Installation uses existing factory mounting bosses in the Ranger kick panels, with supplied mounting hardware and speaker harnesses. The enclosures are designed to work alongside Rockford Fosgate's Ranger-specific dash kit and amplifier kit. For a complete audio system, add a compatible pair of speakers plus an appropriate source unit, amplifier, and wiring as needed.

Design & Installation

The RFRNGR-FSE uses a roto-molded, seamless enclosure design with a texture and color treatment matched to the vehicle interior. Each enclosure is designed as an optimized sealed speaker pod for the lower front area of a compatible Polaris Ranger. The package includes two enclosures, mounting hardware, foam pads, wire ties, a ball-end Allen driver, and speaker harnesses.

Installation requires access behind the Ranger dash, where each enclosure mounts below the dash against the firewall using existing factory bosses. Install compatible speakers into the pods, route and connect the supplied speaker harnesses, then use the included foam pads to seal the enclosure opening. Disconnect the vehicle battery negative terminal before installation, and consult the vehicle service manual for model-specific details.
