The Rockford Fosgate HD24BL69 is a 6x9-inch saddlebag-lid cut-in speaker kit for select 2024 and newer Harley-Davidson Touring motorcycles. It is designed for riders adding rear audio to compatible factory H-D ABS saddlebags rather than replacing an existing factory speaker-lid assembly. The kit combines a pair of TMS24-69 2-way speakers with the mounting, cutting, grille, and harness components needed for the saddlebag-lid conversion.

This kit is intended for compatible Harley-Davidson models using Skyline OS and factory ABS saddlebags. Its cut-in design lets the speakers mount high in the lid area to help preserve usable saddlebag space. Each included TMS24-69 speaker uses a long-throw 6x9-inch woofer design intended to provide extended low-frequency response while maintaining clear upper-frequency output. Their 50 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and 91.4 dB sensitivity support use in a properly matched motorcycle audio system.

The HD24BL69 uses a top-loading bucket and self-centering backer arrangement for cutting and mounting through the bag lid. The bucket, backer, gasketed fasteners, and grille system create a structured mounting surface around the speaker opening. Precision left- and right-side templates with external ribs are included to guide the required lid cuts.

For motorcycle use, the speakers and installation system are built around Rockford Fosgate's Element Ready approach to water, dust, UV exposure, corrosion, vibration, and temperature changes. The kit includes internal and external harnesses with watertight protection using Molex MX150 and Deutsch DT connections. The included TMS24-69 speakers use curvilinear polypropylene cones with 10% carbon fill, Santoprene VAST surrounds, Poly-Nomex spiders, UV-stable Domamid PA66 composite baskets, dual neodymium motors, and vented Kapton voice-coil formers. An integrated concealed crossover, 4 kHz 12 dB-per-octave crossover network, corrosion-resistant tin-plated terminals, and an integrated motor cover are part of the speaker design. The kit also includes bag-lid grilles that follow the compound contours of the compatible lid design.

Installation requires cutting compatible factory Harley-Davidson ABS saddlebag lids using the supplied templates, then fitting the left and right buckets, backers, speakers, grilles, and harnesses. Rockford Fosgate lists drill, jigsaw or air saw, drill bits, hole saw, hand tools, and masking tape among the required installation tools.
