The Rockford Fosgate GF-65 is a pair of 6.5-inch flush-mount grilles designed to give compatible Punch speakers a clean, integrated finish. They mount into the panel rather than sitting on top of it, helping create a lower-profile appearance for custom vehicle audio installations. This grille set is an accessory and does not include speakers.

GF-65 grilles are intended for installers and vehicle owners using select Rockford Fosgate 6.5-inch Punch speaker models. They provide a finished trim solution where exposed speaker frames or conventional surface grilles do not suit the build. The flush design is especially useful for door panels, kick panels, rear decks, and fabricated audio panels with adequate mounting clearance.

Because the GF-65 is a protective grille assembly rather than an audio driver, it does not add power handling or change a system's rated sound output. Its role is to cover and help protect the compatible speaker while maintaining an orderly presentation. Proper speaker selection, amplification, wiring, and tuning remain dependent on the speakers installed behind the grilles.

The assembly uses grille mesh, metal bezels, and C-Backers to create a structured flush-mount installation. Keyhole-style bezel mounting allows the bezel to be positioned over the long machine screws and secured against the backing piece. The grille mesh is keyed for alignment and presses into the bezel after the speaker is installed.

For a coordinated Rockford Fosgate Punch upgrade, the GF-65 is matched specifically to P1V2-65, P2V2-65, P2V2-65HO, P3V2-65, and PPROV2-65 speakers. It is useful when the speaker installation calls for a larger flush-mount opening than the speaker's standard cutout. A supplied cutout template helps plan the panel opening before installation.

The GF-65 package includes two grille mesh pieces, two metal bezels, and two C-Backers. Its 7.65-inch outer diameter provides a finished border around the speaker opening, while the assembly has a 1.09-inch mounting depth. The grille set is specified at 15.31 ounces for the pair.

Use the included template to mark the 7.07-inch cutout, then confirm that the selected panel has no wiring, window mechanisms, or other obstructions behind it. The C-Backer is positioned behind the opening with the supplied long M4 machine screws, then the metal bezel is secured through its keyhole slots. Install the compatible speaker to the bezel using the shorter machine screws, align the keyed mesh and logo orientation, and press the grille mesh into place.
