The Pioneer TS-A1671F is a pair of 6.5-inch, 3-way coaxial car speakers designed as a practical upgrade from worn or limited factory door speakers. Its full-range coaxial layout combines woofer, midrange, and tweeter drivers in each speaker, helping simplify an installation while covering a broad listening range. Multi-Fit installation adapters are included to support more flexible mounting in compatible vehicles.

These A-Series speakers are intended for drivers who want clearer everyday music playback without moving to a separate-component speaker system. With 70 watts nominal power handling, 320 watts maximum power handling, and a 4-ohm nominal impedance, they can be used in an appropriately matched factory-replacement or amplified system. Confirm vehicle opening dimensions, mounting depth, and wiring before purchase.

The TS-A1671F uses a 6.5-inch carbon- and mica-reinforced IMPP woofer cone with an elastic polymer surround. This construction is designed to provide controlled low-frequency output and durability in an automotive environment. A 42 mm midrange and 11 mm PET hard-dome tweeter handle upper-frequency detail within the coaxial assembly.

Pioneer rates the TS-A1671F for a 37 Hz to 31 kHz frequency response and 91 dB sensitivity at 1 watt/1 meter. Those specifications support a balanced full-range presentation with useful output from modest power. The speaker also incorporates Pioneer’s Open & Smooth sound concept, focused on smooth driver transition and broad in-car sound staging.

As an upgrade path, these speakers can replace compatible 6.5-inch factory locations and can also be paired with a 4-ohm-capable aftermarket amplifier within their nominal power rating. Included grilles provide an option for custom or exposed installations where a vehicle does not retain an OEM speaker grille. Design & Installation

The TS-A1671F uses an iron pressed-plate woofer basket, ferrite woofer magnet, elastic polymer surround, and carbon- and mica-reinforced injection-molded polypropylene woofer cone. Its midrange uses a cellulose-fiber diaphragm, while the tweeter is an 11 mm PET hard dome. Copper voice-coil wire and a glass-imide voice-coil bobbin are also specified.

Verify that the vehicle has a compatible 6.5-inch speaker location, a 144 mm cutout, and at least 48 mm of mounting depth before installation. Use the supplied Multi-Fit adapters only where they match the vehicle mounting location, and ensure the speaker terminals and wiring cannot contact vehicle metal. For amplified systems, use a 4-ohm-compatible amplifier and set gain conservatively to avoid speaker distortion.
