The Memphis PRXS1024 is a 10-inch shallow-mount car subwoofer designed for bass upgrades where mounting space is limited. Its selectable 2-ohm or 4-ohm impedance arrangement gives installers flexibility when matching the subwoofer to an amplifier. The selectable load is set using the supplied jumper wiring.

The PRXS1024 uses a black polypropylene cone, rubber surround, reinforced spider, and woven tinsel leads. Design & Installation

The PRXS1024 is built with a black-on-black polypropylene cone, rubber surround, reinforced spider, woven tinsel leads, and a high-temperature BASV voice coil former. Its shallow basket design is paired with a 50-ounce magnet and a dual-voice-coil selectable-impedance arrangement. A rubber trim ring/gasket is installed on the subwoofer.

Confirm available mounting clearance before cutting the enclosure, using the listed 3-inch mounting depth and 9-inch cutout diameter as the primary fitment references. Use the included jumper wires to configure either a 2-ohm or 4-ohm load, then pair it with an amplifier that is stable at that selected impedance. Memphis recommends 0.6 ft³ sealed or 1.2 ft³ ported enclosure volume for this model.
