Memphis MXA62HD 6.5" Harley-Davidson Coaxial Speakers

The Memphis MXA62HD is a pair of 6.5-inch coaxial motorcycle speakers engineered as a direct-fit replacement for select Harley-Davidson factory speaker locations. It is intended for 2014-and-newer Street Glide, 2015-and-newer Road Glide, and compatible Tour-Pak locations. The set includes three grille sets to support these installation positions.

These speakers are built for riders replacing factory fairing or Tour-Pak speakers without custom fabrication. Their OEM-location fitment helps retain the motorcycle's original speaker placement while updating the speaker assembly. Installation should follow the applicable motorcycle service procedures and speaker polarity should be observed.

With a 75-watt RMS and 150-watt peak power rating, the MXA62HD is suited to motorcycle audio systems needing higher-power replacement speakers. Its 93 dB sensitivity supports efficient output from an appropriately matched audio system. The speaker uses a 35 mm voice coil and neodymium ring-magnet motor.

The MXA62HD combines a carbon-fiber-reinforced polypropylene cone with a low-profile proprietary film-dome tweeter. An integrated waveguide is used with the tweeter to improve low mid-range output. The integrated 6 dB crossover uses a high-power mylar capacitor to direct signal between the woofer and tweeter.

For outdoor motorcycle use, the speakers carry an IP66 weatherproof design and use weather-focused materials throughout the assembly. The Santoprene surround and front spider, along with the glass-reinforced polymer frame, address exposure and corrosion concerns. Riders seeking to add amplification can pair the speakers with Memphis' optional MXAHD14KIT and compatible Memphis amplifier; those components are sold separately.

The MXA62HD uses a carbon-fiber-reinforced polypropylene cone, Santoprene surround and front spider, high-temperature glass-reinforced polymer frame, and neodymium magnetic components. Its 35 mm voice coil supports the stated power rating, while the integrated crossover uses a high-power mylar capacitor. Integrated spade terminals provide the speaker connection points.

The speakers are designed to replace OEM speakers in 2014-and-newer Street Glide and 2015-and-newer Road Glide motorcycles, as well as Tour-Pak locations. Select the supplied grille that corresponds to the intended location, observe positive and negative speaker polarity, and verify fitment before installation.
