This set is intended for drivers who want a 6x9-inch replacement speaker with more installation options than a fixed coaxial design. Its 75-watt RMS power rating per speaker supports use with compatible aftermarket amplification or an appropriately matched audio system. A 91 dB sensitivity rating helps it deliver useful output without requiring excessive power.

The MS69V combines carbon fiber cones with aluminum tweeters to cover bass, midrange, and high-frequency duties in a compact vehicle-speaker format. The carbon fiber cone construction is intended to provide a lightweight, responsive moving surface. Aluminum tweeters handle upper-frequency detail, while the rubber surrounds support controlled cone movement.

Its removable coaxial tweeters are the defining feature of the MS69V design. With the separately sold Memphis MSCKIT, the tweeters can be relocated for component-style installation using supplied phase plugs and surface- or flush-mount options. This provides a path for changing tweeter position when system layout and imaging are priorities.

External passive crossovers are included to manage the speaker system's frequency distribution. Memphis also includes its MClip crossover mounting solution to assist with crossover placement during installation. The included grilles add protection where the speakers are installed in exposed locations.

Design & Installation

The MS69V uses a 6x9-inch carbon fiber cone, rubber surround, aluminum tweeter, and 13-ounce magnet. Its 3-inch mounting depth should be checked against available door, rear-deck, or other vehicle-panel clearance before purchase. Protective grilles are included with the set.

For standard coaxial use, install the speakers in a compatible 6x9-inch location and wire the included passive crossovers as directed by the manufacturer. Component conversion requires the separately sold MSCKIT; that kit provides phase plugs and mounting provisions for surface- or flush-mounted tweeters.
