Memphis CANAMDEF10SE 10" Powered Can-Am Defender Subwoofer

The Memphis CANAMDEF10SE is a direct-fit powered 10-inch subwoofer system made for compatible 2018 and newer Can-Am Defender vehicles. It adds dedicated low-frequency output while using an under-seat factory-style mounting location. The integrated amplifier and sealed enclosure simplify adding bass without selecting a separate subwoofer box and amplifier.

This system is intended for Can-Am Defender owners who want a compact bass upgrade while preserving usable cabin space. On 2-seat models, it mounts beneath the passenger seat. On 4-seat models, it can mount beneath the front passenger seat or either rear seat location.

A built-in 350-watt RMS amplifier drives the included 10-inch woofer, with a 500-watt peak power rating. Its specified frequency range is 28 Hz to 120 Hz, covering the low-bass region that smaller speakers do not reproduce as fully. A wired bass knob is included for convenient output adjustment while riding.

The enclosure is rotomolded from high-density polyethylene and sealed for all-weather conditions. A mesh grille helps protect the RGB back-lit woofer in its under-seat location. The included sealed harness is designed for the powersports installation environment.

The CANAMDEF10SE can be used as the bass section of a broader Defender audio upgrade with compatible source and speaker equipment. Four-seat Defender configurations can accommodate up to three of these subwoofer systems in the specified seat locations. Confirm vehicle configuration before purchase, as this model does not fit 2026 HD11 Defender models.

Design & Installation

The CANAMDEF10SE uses a sealed, rotomolded HDPE enclosure rather than a conventional carpeted vehicle box. Its mesh grille covers the woofer, while RGB backlighting is integrated into the 10-inch driver. The enclosure is specified for all-weather conditions and includes a sealed harness.

For 2-seat Defender models, mount the enclosure under the passenger seat. For 4-seat models, use the front passenger or rear-seat locations; up to three units may be installed in the specified locations. Mounting hardware, the sealed harness, and bass knob are included, but verify the vehicle is not a 2026 HD11 model before installation.
