The NP1-116 uses a 1-inch titanium dome tweeter to reproduce high-frequency detail, paired with an injection-molded composite polypropylene woofer cone for midrange and bass output. Marine-focused construction includes an IPX68-rated LIFE SHIELD protection system, UV-resistant ASA and fiberglass composite frames, molded polymer sealing gaskets, and corrosion-resistant gold-plated connectors. The NP1-116 uses a UV-resistant ASA and fiberglass composite frame, injection-molded composite polypropylene cone, co-molded Santoprene surround, and molded polymer sealing gasket. Its tweeter uses a titanium dome with a waterproof-coated silk surround and a high-energy N38H neodymium motor. The midwoofer uses a high-energy ferrite magnet, while the terminals are 10-karat gold plated for corrosion resistance.

Plan for a 5.6-inch mounting cutout and approximately 3.05 inches of chassis depth, then verify clearance behind the mounting surface before cutting or fastening. Connect speaker positive and negative leads to the corresponding terminals, route wiring away from sharp edges and heat sources, and select the desired grille before securing it with the supplied mounting hardware.
