A selectable 0 dB or -3 dB tweeter-output setting allows the upper-frequency level to be adjusted for the speaker's installation position. This can be useful when a speaker is mounted low in a door or in a more reflective location. The system's specified crossover point is 3.9 kHz.

Design & Installation

The Stadium 962M uses a black multi-element coaxial design with a Plus One glass-fiber woofer cone, rubber surround, and edge-driven aluminum dome midrange and tweeter elements. The speakers include protective grilles and foam gaskets, while the supplied spacers provide an additional fitment option. Each speaker has a 6 x 9-inch nominal size and a 3-way layout.

Confirm that the vehicle has sufficient space for the 9-15/32 by 6-21/32-inch cutout and 3-5/32-inch top-mount depth before installation. Use the supplied screws, speed clips, foam gaskets, and spacers as appropriate for the mounting surface; vehicle-specific adapter brackets or harnesses may still be needed. Disconnect the vehicle battery before wiring, observe speaker polarity, and use an amplifier or receiver that is compatible with a 3-ohm speaker load.
