Infinity 622MLT 6.5" RGB LED Marine Coaxial Speakers

The Infinity 622MLT is a pair of 6.5-inch, two-way marine coaxial speakers designed for boats and other open-air installations. It combines full-range audio with integrated RGB LED lighting in a titanium-color finish. The speakers are intended for installations exposed to sun, salt spray, washdowns, and changing weather conditions.

These speakers help replace aging factory marine speakers or add sound to a new boat, personal watercraft, or outdoor audio project. Their 4-ohm nominal impedance allows connection to compatible marine receivers or amplifiers. With 75 watts RMS handling per speaker, they are suited to systems that need more output than a basic low-power source can provide.

A polypropylene woofer cone and rubber surround support durable operation while reproducing bass and midrange. The balanced-dome tweeter is bridge mounted to the grille rather than mounted through the woofer cone. This design helps seal the front of the woofer and helps protect the motor structure from water intrusion.

The 622MLT is IPX5 rated and uses marine-oriented construction including a sealed motor structure, sealed magnet, and UV-resistant one-piece cast-polymer basket. Its specified frequency response is 50 Hz to 20 kHz, with 92 dB sensitivity measured at 2.83V/1m. The result is a full-range speaker designed for the acoustic demands of open-air listening.

Integrated RGB LED lighting provides visual accent lighting around each speaker. The included pigtail harness supports manual hardwired color selection, while an external lighting controller may also be used. Pair the 622MLT with a compatible marine source unit or amplifier, proper speaker wiring, and a suitable 6.5-inch mounting location for a complete installation.

Design & Installation

The 622MLT uses a titanium-color polymer grille, UV-resistant one-piece cast-polymer basket, polypropylene cone, rubber surround, and sealed magnet structure. Its bridge-mounted tweeter is positioned on the grille to help keep water from passing through the woofer cone. Stainless-steel mounting hardware and foam gaskets are included for marine installation.

Confirm that the mounting surface accepts a 5-1/16-inch cutout and allows 2-11/16 inches of mounting depth before installation. Connect each speaker to a compatible 4-ohm amplifier or receiver channel, observing correct speaker polarity. For lighting, use the supplied RGB pigtail harness with manual hardwiring or a separately sourced external lighting controller.
