Design & Installation

The 1022MLW has a white marine-grade presentation with an included grille, polypropylene cone, rubber surround, sealed magnet, and sealed motor structure. Its one-piece cast-polymer basket is UV resistant, while stainless steel mounting hardware is supplied for installation. The 10-9/16-inch external diameter and 1-7/16-inch top height should be considered when planning panel clearance.

Use the supplied foam gasket and stainless steel hardware when mounting the subwoofer in a surface with a 9-3/16-inch cutout and at least 4-7/16 inches of mounting depth. Connect it to an amplifier designed for a 4-ohm subwoofer load and size amplifier output around the subwoofer's 250-watt RMS rating. The included RGB lighting pigtail harness is used to connect the integrated lighting to a compatible lighting setup.
