The Infinity 1022MLT is a 10-inch marine audio subwoofer designed to add low-frequency output to boat and outdoor audio systems. This subwoofer is intended for boat, powersports, and other open-air applications where conventional car-audio equipment may be exposed to water, salt spray, sun, and washdowns. It carries an IPX5 marine rating and uses marine-oriented materials throughout its construction. The design focuses on delivering bass from 25 Hz to 500 Hz while supporting the durability needs of exterior installations.

With 89 dB sensitivity at 2.83V/1m, the 1022MLT is engineered for solid output in open-air listening environments. Its 10-inch polypropylene cone and rubber surround are paired with a sealed motor structure and sealed magnet. These elements help support consistent bass reproduction while protecting key components from marine exposure.

RGB LED lighting is integrated into the subwoofer and supports up to seven wiring-selected color options. Lighting can be operated through a manual hardwired connection or an external lighting controller, which is not included. An RGB lighting pigtail harness is supplied for installation.

The 1022MLT is a practical match for an Infinity Reference Marine system when a dedicated low-frequency driver is needed. It mounts in a 9-3/16-inch cutout and requires 4-7/16 inches of mounting depth. Pair it with an amplifier that is appropriate for a 4-ohm subwoofer and rated around its 250-watt RMS continuous power capability.

Design & Installation

The 1022MLT combines a titanium-colored grille with a UV-resistant, one-piece cast-polymer basket, sealed magnet, sealed motor structure, polypropylene cone, and rubber surround. Its 10-9/16-inch external diameter and grille-mounted design provide a finished appearance on a suitable mounting surface. Stainless-steel mounting hardware and a foam gasket are included.

Use the supplied template and verify the 9-3/16-inch mounting cutout plus 4-7/16 inches of mounting depth before cutting. Connect the subwoofer to a compatible 4-ohm amplifier, observing the marked positive and negative speaker terminals. Connect the included RGB pigtail harness for manual lighting wiring, or use a compatible external lighting controller if controller-based operation is desired.
