The BRL1600.1 has a black BRUTUS BRL chassis with a mass-loaded extruded aluminum heat sink, multi-layer PCB construction, and nickel-plated RCA jacks. Angled molded terminals are designed to provide easier connection access and cleaner wire routing. The amplifier also includes selectable logo illumination with blue, VU meter, and off settings.

Install the amplifier on a secure surface with adequate ventilation and do not mount it upside down. Use appropriately sized power, ground, and speaker wiring, including the specified external fuse protection, and connect it to a subwoofer load no lower than 1 ohm. Set gain, crossover points, bass boost, and the bass remote level carefully to suit the source unit and subwoofer system.
