The Crunch CS653 is a pair of 6.5-inch, 3-way coaxial car speakers designed to replace worn or limited factory speakers. Their all-in-one coaxial layout places the high-frequency element within the speaker assembly, helping simplify an everyday door or rear-deck audio upgrade. They are intended for universal vehicle applications, subject to confirming physical fitment in the vehicle.

With a published 4-ohm impedance, the CS653 is suited to common automotive speaker circuits. Crunch lists 150 watts RMS and 300 watts peak power handling for this model. The speaker uses a 1-inch Neo-Mylar soft-dome tweeter to reproduce upper-frequency detail alongside its 6.5-inch main driver.

The Silver Alpha-Cellulose Poly cone is designed to provide the midrange and mid-bass foundation of the speaker. A UV-resistant rubber surround supports cone movement and is paired with high-temperature adhesive at the cone-surround connection. This combination is intended for the temperature changes and vibration common in vehicle interiors.

Crunch equips the CS653 with a pure-copper voice coil on a Kapton former, plus an over-coil ventilation arrangement through the spider. The design also uses an epoxy-infused natural-fiber spider for suspension support. A passive internal crossover directs frequencies between the main driver and tweeter elements.

The CS653 uses an anti-resonant stamped-steel basket, ferrite magnet motor, textured ABS gasket, and a black finish. Its pure-copper voice coil uses a Kapton former, while the tweeter also uses a Kapton-based construction. The included grilles can help protect exposed speakers from accidental contact.

Confirm a 5.59-inch cutout, 7.01-inch outside diameter, and 2.13-inch mounting-depth clearance before ordering. Use the supplied speaker connection cables or connect with suitable spade terminals or direct soldering, observing vehicle polarity. Mounting hardware, grilles, and connection cables are included; vehicle-specific adapters or wiring harnesses may be needed depending on the installation location.
