Design & Installation

The CRA-3000.1 uses a black Class D amplifier chassis with an aluminum heat sink for thermal dispersion. Its connection layout includes nickel-plated brass terminals with screw-down connectors for power, ground, and speaker wiring. LED protection diagnostics are located on the amplifier end panel to help monitor operating status.

Use 4 AWG cable at the 12-volt and ground terminals and up to 8 AWG speaker wire at the output terminals. The amplifier uses an external 150A fuse, so the vehicle power wiring should be properly fused and installed according to the supplied guide. Set the low-pass filter, subsonic filter, input level, and bass boost to match the connected subwoofer system and source unit.
