The WARZONE WZ-EQ6700 is a compact 1/2-DIN, 7-band graphic equalizer for adding hands-on tonal control to a car audio system. It is designed to sit between a source unit and external amplifiers, allowing the signal to be adjusted before it reaches the speakers. Separate front, rear, and subwoofer RCA outputs support multi-amplifier installations.
This equalizer is intended for listeners who want more adjustment than a typical radio tone control provides. Its seven bands cover low bass through high treble, helping users reduce problem frequencies or make measured tonal changes for their vehicle and speaker setup. A master level control, front/rear fader, and subwoofer-level control place common adjustments on the front panel.
The WZ-EQ6700 uses center frequencies of 50Hz, 125Hz, 315Hz, 750Hz, 2.2kHz, 6kHz, and 16kHz. Each main EQ band provides up to 12dB of boost or cut, allowing targeted adjustment across the audible range. Its specified 100dB signal-to-noise ratio and 0.005% THD support use in line-level audio systems.
A dedicated subwoofer output includes an electronic low-pass crossover with selectable 60Hz or 90Hz points and an 18dB-per-octave slope. This gives a compatible subwoofer amplifier a filtered bass signal while the front and rear outputs continue serving the main amplifier channels. The subwoofer section also provides a separate level adjustment for balancing bass output from the driver seat.
The equalizer accepts main and auxiliary stereo RCA sources, making it suitable for systems that use a head unit plus an additional line-level device. Gold-plated RCA connectors are used for the signal connections, while ISO mounting holes and a removable trim ring support custom dash or console installation. It operates from a 12-volt negative-ground electrical system with a specified operating range of 11V to 15V.
Key Features
- Seven-Band Graphic EQ: Adjusts seven fixed frequency ranges from bass through treble.
- Dedicated Subwoofer Output: Supplies a separate RCA signal for a subwoofer amplifier.
- Selectable Low-Pass Crossover: Filters the subwoofer output at 60Hz or 90Hz.
- Three Stereo RCA Outputs: Supports separate front, rear, and subwoofer amplifier connections.
- Main And Auxiliary Inputs: Allows selection between two stereo RCA source inputs.
- 7V Maximum Output: Provides a strong line-level signal to compatible amplifiers.
Design & Installation
The WZ-EQ6700 uses a compact 1/2-DIN chassis sized at approximately 7 inches wide, 4 1/8 inches deep, and 1 inch high. Its connection panel uses gold-plated RCA terminals, and the front-panel layout includes separate controls for EQ, master level, subwoofer level, and front/rear fader. ISO mounting holes and a removable trim ring are specified for installation flexibility.
Install the equalizer in a 12-volt negative-ground vehicle, boat, RV, RTV, or motorcycle electrical system where it can be securely mounted and accessed for adjustment. Connect the head unit or other line-level source to the main or auxiliary RCA input, then run RCA cables from the front, rear, and subwoofer outputs to compatible amplifiers. Use the selectable subwoofer crossover only when its 60Hz or 90Hz low-pass points suit the rest of the system's crossover plan.

Will the WZ-EQ6700 work with a factory radio?
It accepts line-level RCA input through its main or auxiliary stereo RCA connections. A factory radio without RCA preouts would need an appropriate line-output converter or another compatible method of providing RCA-level audio.
Does this replace a car stereo or add CarPlay?
No. The WZ-EQ6700 is an audio equalizer and line-level signal processor, not a receiver or media player. It does not provide CarPlay, Android Auto, radio reception, or Bluetooth.
How many amplifiers can it connect to?
It has three stereo RCA output pairs labeled for front, rear, and subwoofer use. This can feed separate front, rear, and subwoofer amplifier channels when the amplifiers use RCA inputs.
What subwoofer crossover settings are available?
The dedicated subwoofer output has an 18dB-per-octave electronic crossover. Its selectable low-pass frequency is 60Hz or 90Hz.
What vehicle power system does it require?
The equalizer is specified for 11V to 15V operation in a negative-ground system. It is intended for 12-volt vehicle-type electrical systems.
What mounting space is needed?
The unit is specified at approximately 7 inches wide, 4 1/8 inches deep, and 1 inch high. It uses a 1/2-DIN format with ISO mounting holes and a removable trim ring.
