The Audiobank AB-EQ5 is a 1/2-DIN in-dash graphic equalizer and line driver for car audio systems. It gives the installer direct control over tonal balance, signal level, front-to-rear balance, and subwoofer level from a compact dash-mounted panel. It is intended for systems using external amplifiers and RCA signal connections.

Its five-band EQ section is designed to help correct the tonal effects of a vehicle interior, where bass, vocal, and treble response can vary significantly by vehicle and speaker placement. Install the equalizer in a suitable 1/2-DIN dash location and connect it between the audio source and external amplifier inputs using stereo RCA cables. It operates from an 11–15V negative-ground electrical system, so it is intended for conventional negative-ground vehicles. Use the front, rear, and subwoofer RCA outputs with the corresponding amplifier channels, then set sensitivity and amplifier gains conservatively before making EQ adjustments.
