Each P1V2-5 speaker is rated for 75 watts RMS and 150 watts peak power handling. Its 56 Hz to 25 kHz frequency response and 86 dB sensitivity support clear everyday listening from a factory radio or a properly matched aftermarket amplifier. The 4-ohm nominal impedance is common in car-audio speaker systems.

The 3-way coaxial arrangement places the high-frequency drivers at the center of the midrange cone, helping consolidate multiple drivers into one factory-style speaker location. Rockford Fosgate specifies a 3/4-inch inverted-dome tweeter plus a lower one-third co-witnessed 9 mm convex piezo driver. This layout is intended to add upper-frequency detail without requiring separate tweeter mounting locations.

VAST 2.0 technology increases usable cone area by using an updated surround-to-frame attachment design. The P1V2-5 also uses Rockford Fosgate Tru-Sight tweeter alignment technology to coordinate its two high-frequency drivers. The P1V2-5 uses a compact full-range coaxial layout with a 5.25-inch midrange, 3/4-inch inverted-dome tweeter, and 9 mm convex piezo driver. Its frame geometry, mounting points, Twist-Lock adapter system, and removable motor cover are designed to help it fit tighter factory speaker locations. Optional surface-mount and flush-mount grilles are available separately; grilles are not included.

Confirm the 4.37-inch cutout requirement, mounting depth, and front-side clearance before ordering. The included adapters and hardware can simplify many installations, but vehicle-specific wiring harnesses may still be needed to avoid modifying factory wiring. Observe polarity at the marked positive terminal, route wiring before final mounting, and verify door-window clearance where applicable.
