Design & Installation

The PRXL10FT uses a black-on-black polypropylene cone, stitched butyl rubber surround, reinforced spider, woven tinsel leads, and a 63-ounce magnet. Its RGB LED accent ring surrounds the cone, while the 2-inch voice coil uses a high-temperature TIL former. Direct Voice Coil Cooling is incorporated to support thermal efficiency.

Confirm that the enclosure has at least 5.1 inches of mounting depth and a 9.2-inch cutout before installation. Select the 1-ohm, 2-ohm, or 4-ohm setting to match the amplifier’s supported load, then set amplifier gains appropriately for the 400-watt RMS rating. The LEDs require a hardwired 12-volt connection, and the optional Memphis MXRGBBTC controller is available separately for RGB control.
