Mount the amplifier in a secure, ventilated location and avoid installing it with the heatsink fins facing downward. Memphis recommends the 4GKIT amplifier kit for this model; use proper-size stranded copper power and ground cable, install the main fuse within 18 inches of the battery, and verify the final subwoofer load with a multimeter before connection. Do not wire this mono amplifier below its 1-ohm minimum impedance.
