This item Memphis MJP750.1 750W RMS Monoblock Subwoofer Amplifier $299.95
AUDIO360 AD4C 4 Gauge Amplifier Wiring Kit $50.00
Bundle total: $349.95

The Memphis MJP750.1 is a single-channel car audio amplifier designed to provide dedicated power for a subwoofer system. It delivers 300 watts RMS at 4 ohms, 500 watts RMS at 2 ohms, and 750 watts RMS at 1 ohm. This makes it suitable for systems that need a compact monoblock amp with flexible impedance options.

Built for bass-focused installations, the MJP750.1 operates down to a 1-ohm speaker load and uses adjustable filtering to help tailor output to the connected subwoofer enclosure. Its frequency response is specified from 11Hz to 200Hz, covering the low-frequency range used in subwoofer applications. A wired remote level control is included for convenient output adjustment from the driver's seat.

The amplifier uses an extruded aluminum heatsink and chassis to support heat management in an installed vehicle environment. Exposed aluminum details and a MOJO Pro orange accent strip give it a purposeful, coordinated appearance for visible trunk or hatch installations. Its compact 7.5-inch length can help simplify placement where mounting space is limited.

Variable low-pass and subsonic controls allow the amplifier to be adjusted for the subwoofer and enclosure being used. The 12dB-per-octave Butterworth crossover design provides a straightforward way to manage the bass range sent to the amplifier. Variable phase control and bass boost add further adjustment options during system tuning.

The MJP750.1 fits into a system as a dedicated subwoofer amplifier, with RCA inputs, high-level input capability, RCA outputs for feeding additional amplifiers, and a selectable master/slave mode for strapping compatible mono amplifiers. It is intended for installations wired with the recommended Memphis 4GKIT amplifier kit. Careful speaker wiring is important, as loads below 1 ohm can damage the amplifier.

Key Features

  • 750W RMS at 1 Ohm: Supplies substantial single-channel power for a properly wired subwoofer system.
  • 1-Ohm Stable Mono Design: Supports subwoofer wiring configurations down to a 1-ohm final load.
  • Variable Bass Controls: Includes low-pass, subsonic, phase, and bass-boost adjustment.
  • 12dB Butterworth Crossovers: Helps tailor the low-frequency signal sent to the subwoofer.
  • Strappable Architecture: Allows two compatible MJP mono amplifiers to be configured together.
  • Wired Remote Level Control: Lets the driver adjust amplifier output level from the cabin.

Design & Installation

The MJP750.1 uses an extruded aluminum heatsink and aluminum-accented chassis. Its enclosure measures 7.5 inches long, 7.91 inches wide, and 2 inches high. The design also includes power/protect status indicators, RCA connections, speaker terminals, and externally accessible tuning controls.

Mount the amplifier securely in a well-ventilated area, such as a trunk, hatch area, or behind a truck seat, and avoid mounting it with the cooling fins facing downward. Memphis specifies the 4GKIT amplifier wiring kit for this model; use matching-size power and ground wiring, install the battery-side fuse near the battery, and verify the final subwoofer load before connecting it. For a strapped setup, use a second compatible mono amplifier and follow the manufacturer’s master/slave connection guidance.
