The Hifonics BXX3000.1D is a single-channel car audio amplifier built to power subwoofer systems. It is rated for 3,000 watts RMS at a 1-ohm load, with additional rated output at 2 and 4 ohms. Its mono configuration keeps the system focused on low-frequency reproduction rather than full-range speaker amplification.

This amplifier is intended for installers building a high-output bass system with compatible subwoofers and electrical support. A variable low-pass crossover, subsonic filter, bass boost, and phase adjustment provide the controls needed to integrate a subwoofer with the vehicle's main speakers. RCA signal connections make it suitable for aftermarket source units or processors with low-level outputs.

The BXX3000.1D uses a metal and plastic housing with an aluminum heat-sink design. Its connection hardware includes nickel-plated RCA jacks and high-temperature, impact-resistant nickel-plated output connectors with Allen-head set screws. The amplifier measures 25.1 inches long, so installation space should be planned before purchase.

Use 0 AWG power and ground cable at the amplifier terminals, 10 AWG speaker wire at the output terminals, and an external 250A fuse on the main power cable. Mount the amplifier securely in a dry, ventilated location and keep it upright rather than upside down. Connect RCA inputs from the source unit, set gain as a signal-match control rather than a volume control, and confirm that final subwoofer wiring does not fall below 1 ohm.
