The Hifonics BRL6000.1 is a mono block car audio amplifier for high-output subwoofer systems. It delivers rated power at 4-, 2-, and 1-ohm loads, allowing installers to match the amplifier to a properly wired subwoofer setup. Its mono-only configuration makes it a focused choice for adding dedicated bass amplification to a vehicle.

At 1 ohm, the BRL6000.1 is rated for 6,000 watts RMS through one channel. It is also rated at 4,200 watts RMS at 2 ohms and 2,400 watts RMS at 4 ohms. Variable high-pass and low-pass crossovers, bass boost, and a built-in bass control provide useful adjustment for system tuning.

This amplifier uses a Super D Class design with a half-bridge power architecture, Ultra-Fi MOSFET output devices, and an iron-core transformer. Its Intelligent Power Management System is designed to support stable operation in demanding mobile-audio installations. A wide 10 Hz to 10 kHz frequency response and 0.2 to 9V input range support flexible integration with compatible source units.

The BRL6000.1 combines high-output hardware with practical protection and monitoring features. It includes over/under-voltage, short-circuit, overcurrent, and thermal safeguards. The illuminated logo can be set for constant blue lighting, VU meter operation, or switched off entirely.

For complete bass-system control, the included wired bass remote adjusts level relative to the amplifier's onboard setting. Its status LED shows green when the amplifier is powered and red when protection is active. The amplifier is suited to systems that can accommodate its 1-ohm capability, external 500A fuse requirement, and heavy-gauge power wiring.

The BRL6000.1 uses a mass-loaded extruded aluminum heat sink, multi-layer PCB construction with surface-mount components, nickel-plated RCA connections, and secure molded terminals. The amplifier also uses an iron-core transformer and Ultra-Fi MOSFET output devices as part of its power-stage design.

Use this amplifier in a mono subwoofer system wired no lower than its 1-ohm rated load. The 12V and ground terminals accept 0 AWG cable, the speaker terminals accept 12 AWG cable, and an external 500A fuse is specified. Set gain, crossover points, and bass boost carefully, and mount the amplifier on a secure surface with adequate airflow.
