The Fender CHAMPION II 25 is a compact digital electric-guitar combo amplifier built for straightforward practice and versatile everyday playing. Its 25-watt power section and single 8-inch Fender Special Design speaker provide a self-contained setup without requiring a separate cabinet. It is suited to newer players building their first rig as well as players who want a portable amp for home use.

A selectable Voice control provides a broad range of amp characters, from Fender-inspired clean and overdrive sounds to British, modern and high-gain flavors. Gain, Volume, Treble and Bass controls make it easy to set output level and shape the core sound from the front panel. The single-channel layout keeps operation direct while still allowing many tonal starting points.

The onboard effects section includes modulation, delay, reverb and combined effects, so players can add space, movement or repeats without adding external pedals. The Modify control adjusts parameters for the selected effect, while the TAP button sets the tempo for compatible delay and tremolo effects. This makes it practical to match time-based effects to the rhythm of a song during practice.

For playing along with music, the Champion II 25 includes a 1/8-inch auxiliary input for an external audio source. A headphone output supports private practice, and the rear USB port is provided for firmware updates. These connections let the amp serve as a focused practice setup with a guitar, headphones and a compatible playback device.

The cabinet uses 7-ply 3/4-inch medium-density fibreboard and is finished in black textured vinyl with a silver grille cloth. At 12 pounds, it is compact enough to move easily between rooms or take to lessons and rehearsals. Players who later expand their setup can continue using the amp as a simple standalone practice combo while exploring pedals or other guitar equipment separately.

Design & Installation

The CHAMPION II 25 uses a black textured-vinyl covering over a 7-ply 3/4-inch MDF cabinet, with a silver grille cloth and black front panel. Black plastic and knurled chrome controls provide a familiar amp-style layout, while a molded plastic strap handle with nickel-plated caps supports carrying. Its cabinet measures 13.75 inches wide, 12.75 inches high and 7.5 inches deep.

Place the combo on a stable surface with room around the rear panel and connect an electric guitar to the 1/4-inch instrument input using a standard instrument cable. Connect a compatible playback device to the 1/8-inch auxiliary input for backing tracks, or connect headphones for private practice. Use the Voice, Gain, EQ, FX Select, Modify and TAP controls to create and refine a starting sound.
