The GP-2500.1 uses a Class A/B amplifier design with Crunch SPEED-FET MOSFET output devices and a pulse-width-modulated power supply. The GP-2500.1 has a black and red chassis with a QTD aluminum heat sink for thermal dispersion. Nickel-plated brass terminals are paired with screw-down connectors for the power, ground, and speaker connections. Mount the amplifier securely on a surface with adequate ventilation, and do not mount it upside down. The manufacturer specifies 4 AWG power and ground terminals, 12 AWG speaker terminals, and two 30A fuses. Use RCA inputs where available, or use the supplied high-level-input harness with a source unit that lacks RCA outputs.
