The Cerwin Vega S91100.5D is a Stroker Series five-channel full-range Class-D car amplifier designed to power a complete speaker-and-subwoofer system from one chassis. It provides dedicated amplification for front and rear speakers along with a low-frequency channel for a subwoofer. This makes it a practical option for vehicle audio upgrades that need both cabin sound and bass without adding separate amplifiers.
For full-range channels, the S91100.5D is rated at 90 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms or 150 watts RMS x 4 at 2 ohms. Its subwoofer section is rated at 150 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms or 250 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms. The front or rear full-range channels can also be bridged to provide 300 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms, while the subwoofer channels can be bridged for 500 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms.
The amplifier uses a full PWM power supply and full-range Class-D topology to combine multi-channel output with a compact 2-inch-tall chassis. It has a 10.0 to 17.0 VDC operating threshold and an idle-current specification of 0.7A. Its measured specification set includes 0.03% THD at 1 kHz and 4 ohms, plus an A-weighted signal-to-noise ratio of -96.7 dBA at full power.
System tuning is supported by selectable full-range, high-pass, and low-pass crossover modes for channels 1 through 4. Variable high-pass and low-pass crossover adjustments cover 35 Hz to 350 Hz at 12 dB per octave. A variable bass boost and phase control allow the low-frequency output to be adjusted for the subwoofer installation and listening preferences.
The S91100.5D works with aftermarket head units through RCA connections and can also accept speaker-level input for many factory-radio integrations. Its input configuration can accept two-, four-, or five-channel input arrangements, and selectable REM, DC-offset, and VOX turn-on modes add installation flexibility. A wired bass remote is included for convenient subwoofer-level adjustment from the cabin.
Key Features
- Five-Channel System Power: Runs front, rear, and subwoofer channels from one amplifier.
- Full-Range Class-D Topology: Delivers efficient multi-channel amplification in a compact chassis.
- 2-Ohm Stereo Stability: Supports compatible stereo speaker loads down to 2 ohms.
- Bridged Channel Capability: Allows higher-power configurations with 4-ohm bridged loads.
- Flexible Signal Integration: Accepts RCA or speaker-level input signals.
- Wired Bass Remote: Enables convenient adjustment of subwoofer output level.
Design & Installation
The amplifier has a black Stroker Series enclosure with a top-mounted illuminated logo, top-access controls, and status/protection indication. Its full PWM supply, 4-layer PCB construction, and compact layout are intended for vehicle audio installations where space and heat management matter. The chassis measures 14.1 x 7.25 x 2.0 inches.
Mount the amplifier securely to a solid vehicle panel or amplifier rack, with adequate ventilation and access to its controls and connections. Use a properly fused power lead within 18 inches of the battery, match the ground-wire gauge to the power wire, and keep signal cables separated from power wiring where possible. The amplifier accepts up to 4 AWG power and ground cable, while the manufacturer manual specifies a minimum of 8 AWG and lists a 90A battery fuse rating for this model.

Can this amplifier power a full car audio system?
Yes. The S91100.5D is a five-channel amplifier intended to power front and rear speakers plus a subwoofer from one amplifier. It supports two-, four-, or five-channel input configurations.
What speaker impedances can I use?
The manual specifies speaker loads no lower than 2 ohms in stereo operation and no lower than 4 ohms when bridged. Confirm the final impedance of all connected speakers before wiring.
Will it work with a factory radio?
It supports high-level speaker input as well as low-level RCA input. The manual shows speaker-level integration for OEM radios and provides REM, DC-offset, and VOX turn-on options.
What wiring is required?
The amplifier terminals accept up to 4 AWG power and ground cable, while the manual specifies a minimum of 8 AWG. A battery fuse must be installed within 18 inches of the positive battery terminal; the manual lists 90A for this model.
Is a bass level control included?
Yes. A wired bass remote is included, and the remote can be disassembled for in-dash installation. It adjusts the subwoofer output level rather than adding bass boost.
What warranty coverage is listed?
The manufacturer manual lists a one-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Coverage applies to the original purchaser through an authorized Cerwin Vega Mobile dealer.
