AUDIO360 AD0C 0 AWG Amplifier Wiring Kit $78.00
Bundle total: $1,177.99

The Hertz VENEZIA V4 is a four-channel marine amplifier designed to supply substantial power to boat and powersports audio systems. It can run four speakers in stereo, combine channels for a three-channel speaker-and-subwoofer layout, or operate as a two-channel bridged amplifier. Its 2-ohm-stable output stage helps support demanding marine speaker systems from a compact chassis.

At 4 ohms, the VENEZIA V4 delivers 160 watts RMS to each of four channels, while 2-ohm operation raises output to 290 watts RMS per channel. Bridged configurations provide up to 580 watts RMS per bridged channel at 4 ohms. This flexibility makes it suitable for multi-speaker cockpit systems, tower speakers, or a system that combines stereo speakers with a subwoofer.

Hertz Advanced D-Class amplification is used to combine high output with efficient operation. The amplifier is Hi-Res certified and has a stated bandwidth of 10 Hz to 42 kHz. Balanced fully differential input circuitry is designed to reject electromagnetic noise, an important consideration when audio wiring is installed alongside marine electrical equipment.

The VENEZIA V4 is engineered for marine exposure, with an epoxy-coated marine-grade circuit board and testing for UV exposure, salt fog, vibration, temperature extremes, and thermal shock. It carries an IPX2 rating when mounted vertically with its connections facing downward. A fanless convection cooling system is integrated into the cast-aluminum heat-sink chassis.

System tuning is handled through independent A and B channel filter sections, each offering bypass, high-pass, and low-pass operation. The B-channel section also includes adjustable 50 Hz bass boost, while both channel pairs can be switched to mono for bridged use. Safe-Lock input, output, and power connections, plus automatic short-circuit, overload, and thermal protection, support a durable installation.

Key Features

  • Four-Channel Class D Output: Delivers 160 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms or 290 watts RMS x 4 at 2 ohms.
  • Bridged-System Flexibility: Supports three-channel and two-channel bridged configurations for speakers and subwoofers.
  • Hi-Res Certified Bandwidth: Extends from 10 Hz to 42 kHz for wide-bandwidth playback capability.
  • Marine-Ready Electronics: Epoxy-coated circuit boards help resist corrosion in humid and salt-exposed environments.
  • Independent Crossover Sections: A and B channel pairs each have selectable bypass, high-pass, and low-pass filtering.
  • Automatic Protection Circuitry: Short-circuit, overload, and thermal safeguards reset automatically after a fault condition clears.

Design & Installation

The VENEZIA V4 uses a compact cast-aluminum chassis with an integrated heat sink and fanless convection cooling. Its marine-oriented construction includes conformal-coated circuit boards, Safe-Lock plug-and-play connections, and a polycarbonate cover over the control section. The amplifier is rated IPX2 only when installed vertically with the connections facing downward.

Install the amplifier on a solid surface with clearance for heat dissipation and use a 9 to 16 VDC electrical system. Connect a source with preamp outputs to the PRE IN connection, then select the A and B crossover modes to suit the speaker layout. For bridged operation, use only the specified 4-ohm minimum load; the optional Hertz HRC BM2 remote adjusts the BL/BR speaker outputs when B-channel filter mode is set to low-pass.
