The Hertz SX200NEO is an 8-inch, 2-way SPL coaxial speaker set designed for high-output vehicle audio installations. It combines a large midbass woofer and centrally mounted tweeter in one speaker assembly, simplifying installation where a coaxial format is preferred. With a 4-ohm nominal impedance and 130 watts continuous power handling, it is intended for systems that need substantial output from a compact 8-inch speaker location.

This model is suited to car, motorcycle, and powersports-style builds where exposed speaker locations may encounter sunlight, humidity, or occasional water exposure. Its pressed-paper cone receives water- and humidity-resistant treatment plus anti-UV treatment. A protective rubber gasket further supports use in installations where environmental durability is an important consideration.

The SX200NEO is voiced for sound-pressure-oriented systems, with a specified 100 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and 100 dB sensitivity. Its 1.4-inch PEI dome tweeter is designed to extend high-frequency output while the 8-inch woofer handles the midbass and midrange range. A resettable solid-state protection circuit is integrated for the tweeter.

Hertz uses special N38 H neodymium magnets for both the woofer and tweeter motor assemblies. This allows the speaker to retain a relatively shallow 3.26-inch mounting depth while supporting a double-layer copper woofer voice coil wound on a polyamide former. The woofer uses a 1.5-inch voice coil, while the tweeter uses a 1.1-inch voice coil.

For system upgrades, the SX200NEO can be paired with an amplifier matched appropriately to its 4-ohm load and 130-watt continuous rating. Double Faston terminals support conventional speaker wiring and can be used for daisy-chaining multiple units. The SX200NEO uses a water-repellent pressed-paper cone, special N38 H neodymium woofer and tweeter magnets, a double-layer copper woofer voice coil, and a PEI dome tweeter. Its protective rubber gasket complements the cone's water-, humidity-, and UV-resistant treatments. Each speaker is specified at 1.32 kg and has an 82.8 mm mounting depth.

Confirm that the mounting position accommodates the 208 mm outer diameter, 182.7 mm mounting diameter, 199 mm cutout requirement, and 82.8 mm mounting depth. Connect the speaker to a 4-ohm-compatible amplifier or head-unit channel, observing correct polarity at the Faston terminals. For higher-output systems, use an amplifier whose clean continuous output is appropriate for the speaker's 130-watt continuous rating and avoid clipping.
