Crunch PZ21530-4D 1500W 4-Channel Class D Amplifier

The Crunch PZ21530-4D is a four-channel Class D car audio amplifier designed to add external power and tuning flexibility to an aftermarket or factory-based sound system. It can drive front and rear speakers in a conventional four-channel layout, or it can be configured for bridged operation where appropriate. Its compact chassis helps make it practical for vehicle installations where amplifier space is limited.

This amplifier is suited to listeners upgrading factory speaker output, adding power to component speakers, or building a mixed speaker-and-subwoofer system. It accepts low-level RCA signals as well as speaker-level input, allowing integration with source units that do not provide RCA preamp outputs. A full-range RCA output can also pass signal to an additional amplifier.

Output is rated at 4 x 375 watts at 2 ohms, 4 x 200 watts at 4 ohms, or 2 x 750 watts bridged at 4 ohms. These configuration options allow the amplifier to support a four-speaker system or a combination of speakers and bridged channels. Proper speaker impedance and wiring configuration are important when selecting an operating mode.

Variable high-pass and low-pass crossovers provide 12 dB-per-octave filtering from 40 to 400 Hz. This lets an installer remove deep bass from smaller speakers or direct lower frequencies to compatible subwoofer channels. The PZ21530-4D uses Crunch SPEED-FET MOSFET output technology, a MOSFET pulse-width-modulation power supply, and QTD quick thermal dispersion heat management. Nickel-plated brass connections and hex set-screw terminals support secure power, ground, and speaker wiring. LED protection diagnostics provide visual status monitoring for overload and speaker-short protection.

Its design incorporates QTD thermal dispersion, SPEED-FET MOSFET output devices, a MOSFET PWM power supply, and nickel-plated brass connections with hex set-screw terminals. These components are intended to support efficient operation and secure electrical connections.

Mount the amplifier to a solid surface with adequate ventilation and do not mount it upside down. Use 4 AWG power and ground wiring, protect the positive battery cable with the specified external 40-amp fuse within 18 inches of the battery, and use 12 AWG speaker wiring. Set gain and crossover controls after confirming speaker impedance, channel mode, and polarity; professional installation is advisable for complex or bridged systems.
