The Audison AP8 is an 8-inch, 4-ohm Prima Series woofer designed for vehicle locations that use an 8-inch OEM woofer. It is intended to add capable low-frequency and midbass output in factory-style speaker positions without requiring a deep driver. The AP8 combines a water-repellent treated paper cone, TPU surround, 25 mm voice coil, and high-density-flux ferrite magnet. Its compact basket has an abrasion-resistant, scratch-resistant coating, while the motor is secured with damping epoxy adhesive. A temperature-resistant plastic terminal cover helps protect the connections against accidental short circuits.

Confirm available mounting space before installation: the technical drawing lists a 174 mm cutout dimension and 66 mm mounting-depth dimension. Use appropriate speaker wiring and a compatible 4-ohm amplifier channel, then set amplifier gain and filtering for the installed system.
