JBL Stage GT 60041 4-Channel Class-D Car Amplifier

The JBL Stage GT 60041 is a compact four-channel Class-D car amplifier designed to add clean, controlled power to an upgraded speaker system. It delivers 65 watts RMS to each of four channels at 4 ohms, making it suitable for powering front and rear full-range speakers. It can also be bridged to provide 180 watts RMS to each of two 4-ohm full-range channels.

This amplifier is intended for drivers who want more output and tuning control than a factory radio alone can provide. Its 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response supports full-range speaker applications, while adjustable high-pass and low-pass filters help tailor output to the speakers and installation. The variable bass EQ provides additional adjustment at 45 Hz when system tuning calls for it.

The Stage GT 60041 accepts both low-level and speaker-level input signals, helping it work with aftermarket receivers as well as many factory audio systems. Low-level input sensitivity ranges from 0.2V to 5V, while high-level sensitivity ranges from 1V to 25V. JBL also specifies OEM load-detect compatibility for factory head units that require a connected speaker load.

For everyday vehicle use, the amplifier is designed to operate from 9V to 16V and is compatible with start/stop vehicle systems. On-board protection includes DC, over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, and over-temperature protection. Install the amplifier on a solid surface with adequate ventilation and route power, ground, signal, and speaker wiring safely away from moving or heat-producing vehicle components. Use the supplied high-level input cables when connecting to compatible speaker-level outputs, or use low-level inputs with an appropriate preamp signal. Match connected speakers to the amplifier's rated 2-ohm minimum per unbridged channel or 4-ohm minimum per bridged channel, and set crossover and input controls during final system tuning.
