JBL RALLYBAR XL2 35" Outdoor Vehicle Soundbar

The JBL RALLYBAR XL2 is a powered 35-inch outdoor vehicle soundbar designed for UTVs, golf carts, boats, and similar recreational vehicles. It combines amplification, speakers, passive radiators, lighting, and mounting hardware in one weather-resistant assembly. This makes it a practical audio upgrade where conventional in-cabin speakers or separate component systems are not appropriate.

Its built-in Class-D amplifier is rated at 300 watts RMS and drives eight 2.75-inch woofers, two 1-inch tweeters, and four racetrack passive radiators. The system is engineered to produce broad-range sound with substantial low-frequency support from a compact overhead-bar format. AI Sound Boost automatically adjusts audio processing in real time to help maintain clear playback as volume and content change.

For outdoor use, the RALLYBAR XL2 carries an IP67 water- and dust-resistance rating. Its operating voltage range of 9 to 16 VDC supports installation on compatible vehicle electrical systems, while the included 10 AWG power/ground harness is 12 feet long. A 40A fuse is specified for the XL2 power connection.

Music can be played through Bluetooth, a USB storage device, or an RCA input. The soundbar automatically prioritizes sources in the order of USB, Bluetooth, then RCA input. RCA input gain can be set for 2V, 4V, or 6V source levels to better match a compatible head unit or audio source.

The RALLYBAR XL2 is also suited to expandable recreational-vehicle audio systems. Two XL2 soundbars can be paired for true stereo, and Auracast connectivity supports wireless linking with compatible JBL speakers. Dynamic RGB lighting and map lights add useful visual functionality without requiring a separate lighting accessory.

Design & Installation

The RALLYBAR XL2 uses an integrated soundbar layout measuring 35-11/32 inches wide, 5 inches deep, and 4-5/8 inches high. It weighs 16.75 pounds and includes a protective grille structure, LED lighting, bottom-panel controls, and a rotatable JBL logo badge. Its mounting system provides top- and back-mount positioning options, with eight cleat positions for the XL2.

For installation, mount the soundbar securely to a suitable 1.5-, 1.75-, or 2-inch vehicle pole using the supplied cleats, C-clamps, and rubber strips. Connect the included 12-foot, 10 AWG power/ground harness to a compatible 9-16VDC electrical system and use the specified 40A fuse arrangement. Bluetooth is the simplest source connection, while USB playback and RCA input allow integration with stored music or a compatible audio source.
