The Cerwin-Vega H35 is a pair of compact 3.5-inch, 2-way coaxial car speakers designed for replacing factory speakers in space-limited locations. Each speaker combines a woofer and tweeter in one assembly, helping simplify a full-range speaker upgrade. It is suited to vehicles with compatible 3.5-inch factory locations and adequate mounting clearance.

With 40 watts RMS and 120 watts maximum power handling per speaker, the H35 is intended for use with a compatible factory radio or an appropriately matched aftermarket amplifier. Its 4-ohm nominal impedance suits common car-audio speaker circuits. The 84 Hz to 20 kHz published frequency response covers midrange and high-frequency duties in a compact format.

The H35 uses a responsive polypropylene woofer cone with a UV-treated foam surround. This material combination is designed to support controlled cone movement while adding resistance to sun-related wear. A strontium ferrite woofer magnet provides the motor structure for the woofer section.

High frequencies are handled by a dynamically balanced 1-inch PEI balanced-dome tweeter with a neodymium magnet. An integrated crossover directs the appropriate frequency range to the woofer and tweeter. Built-in tweeter protection is included to help protect the high-frequency driver during demanding playback.

For a clean installation, the H35 has a 3.11-inch cutout requirement and a 1.54-inch mounting depth. Its rigid stamped-steel basket is powder coated, and the pair does not include grilles according to the manufacturer specification chart.
