The JBL RallyBar is a self-powered 21-inch outdoor vehicle soundbar built for powersports and open-air applications. It combines speakers, passive radiators, Bluetooth streaming, lighting, and amplification in one weather-resistant enclosure. This makes it a practical audio upgrade for vehicles where a conventional enclosed car-audio installation is not ideal.

A built-in 150W RMS Class-D amplifier powers the RallyBar without requiring a separate external amplifier for its internal speaker system. Its driver array uses four 2.75-inch woofers, two 1-inch tweeters, and racetrack passive radiators to cover a wide 45 Hz to 40 kHz frequency response. The result is a full-range soundbar format suited to music playback in noisy outdoor environments.

The RallyBar supports Bluetooth 5.3 streaming, USB music playback, and a 3.5 mm auxiliary input. Source priority is automatic, with USB taking priority over Bluetooth and Bluetooth taking priority over AUX input. Party Mode allows two Bluetooth devices to remain connected while one device plays at a time.

For expanded systems, Broadcast Mode can send the same source to compatible JBL RallyBar family products, including RallyBar, RallyBar S, and RallyBar XL models. A variable 2V AUX output can feed compatible powered speakers or subwoofers and follows the soundbar's volume and playback controls. Three selectable AUX input gain settings help match the soundbar to different wired source-output levels.

The enclosure carries an IP66 rating for dust protection and resistance to powerful water jets, making it appropriate for exposed installations. Dynamic LED lighting is controlled from the bottom panel and can synchronize with music patterns. JBL includes a long power/ground harness and adaptable mounting hardware to support a range of installation positions.

Design & Installation

The RallyBar uses an integrated soundbar enclosure with onboard controls, weather-protected connections, and an IP66-rated design for exposed vehicle use. Its acoustic system combines dedicated woofers and tweeters with racetrack passive radiators. Dynamic LED lighting and a waterproof-covered AUX output are incorporated into the soundbar design.

Installation uses the supplied 12-foot power/ground harness, mount cleats, clamps, hardware, and rubber strips. The mounting system supports top or rear mounting positions, while included clamp hardware is supplied for specified pole diameters. JBL recommends qualified installation when the installer does not have the necessary mechanical and electrical experience.
