The G5655TG uses an arched laminated maple top and back, laminated maple body construction, and a chambered spruce center block. Its body has aged-white binding with black/aged-white/black purfling, while the maple set neck has aged-white binding and a gloss finish. Gold-finished hardware includes die-cast tuning machines, G-Arrow knobs, a gold Plexi pickguard, and the Bigsby B70 tailpiece.

This is a right-handed, six-string electric guitar intended for use in an amplified guitar setup. Before playing, tune the factory-installed .010-.046 nickel-plated steel strings and set the pickup selector, individual pickup volumes, master volume, and master tone to suit the amplifier and musical style.
