The Fender Player II Stratocaster HSS is a right-handed solidbody electric guitar finished in Aquatone Blue with a maple fingerboard. Its HSS pickup layout combines familiar Strat-style single-coil positions with a humbucker at the bridge. This gives players a versatile instrument for clean, driven, and higher-gain amplifier settings.
This model is suited to guitarists who want classic Stratocaster ergonomics with a broader pickup range than a three-single-coil configuration. The alder body uses Fender's contoured Stratocaster shape for comfortable playing while standing or seated. A 25.5-inch scale length and 22 medium-jumbo frets provide a familiar Fender playing platform.
The maple neck has a Modern "C" profile, satin urethane finish on the back, and gloss urethane finish on the front. Its 9.5-inch-radius maple fingerboard has rolled edges, black dot position markers, and a 1.650-inch synthetic-bone nut. These details support smooth chord work, bends, and lead playing across the neck.
Player Series Alnico V Strat single-coil pickups are fitted in the neck and middle positions, while the bridge uses a Player Series Alnico II humbucker. A five-position blade switch selects the bridge, bridge/middle, middle, middle/neck, and neck pickup settings. Master volume plus separate neck/middle and bridge tone controls provide straightforward tonal adjustment.
A two-point synchronized tremolo with bent steel saddles supports expressive pitch effects, while Fender ClassicGear tuning machines provide an 18:1 gear ratio for precise tuning adjustment. The guitar ships strung with Fender USA 250L nickel-plated steel strings in .009-.042 gauge. It is a practical foundation for a pedalboard-and-amplifier rig or as a flexible addition to an existing electric-guitar collection.

Design & Installation
The Player II Stratocaster HSS uses an alder body with a gloss polyester finish, a bolt-on maple neck, nickel/chrome hardware, and a three-ply parchment pickguard. A four-bolt neck plate with an "F" logo, aged-white plastic controls, aged-white pickup covers, and a standard tremolo arm complete the traditional Stratocaster-inspired appearance. The neck is fitted with a single-action, head-adjust truss rod and synthetic-bone nut.
Connect the guitar's standard electric-guitar output to a compatible instrument cable, pedal chain, amplifier, or audio interface with an appropriate instrument input. Use the five-way switch, master volume, and two tone controls to shape the pickup selection before the signal reaches the rest of the rig. A compatible Stratocaster/Telecaster wood hardshell case and FE1225 electric guitar gig bag are recommended by Fender but are not included.
