Mogami PLATINUM GUITAR-30R 30' Right-Angle Instrument Cable $239.95
Bundle total: $939.94

The Gretsch G5232T Electromatic Double Jet FT is a right-handed, six-string solidbody electric guitar finished in Midnight Sapphire. It is designed for players who want the compact feel and direct response of a Jet-style instrument with a flexible control layout. Its chambered mahogany construction helps provide resonance while maintaining the familiar solidbody format.

An arched maple top and chambered mahogany body form the guitar's tonal foundation. This construction is paired with two Black Top Filter'Tron pickups, giving players access to clear, balanced electric-guitar sounds from the neck, bridge, or both pickups together. The 3-position toggle makes those pickup selections quick and straightforward.

The mahogany set neck uses a Thin "U" profile, a 24.6-inch scale length, and a 12-inch-radius laurel fingerboard. With 22 medium-jumbo frets and a synthetic-bone nut, the instrument is specified for familiar fretting and bending performance across its full range. Pearloid Neo-Classic Thumbnail inlays and aged-white binding complete the neck presentation.

Controls include separate volume controls for the neck and bridge pickups, plus master volume with a treble-bleed circuit and a master tone control. This arrangement allows pickup balance to be set independently, then adjusted globally from the master controls. The Bigsby-licensed B50 vibrato adds pitch-expression capability without replacing the guitar's anchored bridge design.

The G5232T fits naturally into an electric-guitar rig built around an instrument amplifier, pedalboard, or recording interface with a guitar input. Its Filter'Tron pickup configuration and adjustable pickup selection make it suitable for players who want distinct neck, bridge, and blended tones from one instrument. Optional Gretsch gig bag and case options are specified separately for transport and storage.

Key Features

  • Chambered Mahogany Body: Adds resonant character within a solidbody Jet-style design.
  • Arched Maple Top: Complements the mahogany body construction and classic Jet appearance.
  • Black Top Filter'Tron Pickups: Provide neck, bridge, and combined pickup sound options.
  • Bigsby-Licensed B50 Vibrato: Enables expressive pitch modulation while playing.
  • Master Volume With Treble Bleed: Supports global level adjustment while retaining high-end detail.
  • Anchored Adjusto-Matic Bridge: Provides an adjustable bridge platform with anchored mounting.

Design & Installation

The G5232T combines a gloss-finished mahogany body, arched maple top, aged-white body binding with black-and-white purfling, and chrome hardware. Its mahogany set neck has gloss finish, aged-white neck binding, a laurel fingerboard, and pearloid Neo-Classic Thumbnail position markers. A silver plexi pickguard, G-Arrow control knobs, and knurled strap-retainer buttons provide the specified Gretsch appointments.

This is a complete electric guitar, not a vehicle-audio component, so it does not use DIN mounting or car-stereo wiring. For use, connect the guitar to a compatible guitar amplifier or guitar-input recording setup with an appropriate instrument cable, then select pickups with the 3-position toggle and set the individual and master controls to taste. Optional Gretsch G2164 gig bag, G6238FT economy case, and G6238 deluxe case are listed for carrying and protection.
