The Gretsch G5222 Electromatic Double Jet BT is a right-handed solidbody electric guitar with a double-cut Jet body and Walnut Stain finish. It gives players a compact, stage-ready Gretsch-style instrument for clean, driven, and rhythm-focused electric guitar work. Its chambered mahogany construction helps keep the guitar resonant while retaining the focused response of a solidbody design.

This model suits guitarists who want a familiar double-cutaway shape with access to upper frets and a versatile dual-humbucker layout. The lower set mahogany neck and Thin U neck profile are designed for comfortable fretting across the 24.6-inch scale. A 12-inch-radius laurel fingerboard provides a consistent playing surface for chords, lead lines, and bends.

Two Black Top Broad'Tron humbucking pickups provide the guitar's amplified voice. Their paired configuration supports bridge, neck, or combined pickup selections through a three-position toggle switch. Individual pickup volumes, a master tone control, and a master volume with treble bleed offer practical control from the guitar itself.

The chambered mahogany body is topped with arched maple, pairing a substantial core with a defined top construction. An anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge and Gretsch V-Stoptail form the fixed bridge and tailpiece system. This layout is intended for stable tuning, adjustable intonation, and direct string transfer to the body.

The G5222 can serve as a primary electric guitar for players building a pedalboard, amplifier, or recording setup around passive humbucking pickups. Its standard 1/4-inch guitar output works with conventional instrument cables and guitar amplifiers, pedals, interfaces, and DI solutions designed for electric guitar. Design & Installation

The G5222 uses a gloss-finished mahogany body with an arched maple top, white body binding with black-and-white purfling, and chrome hardware. Its set mahogany neck has white binding, a laurel fingerboard, pearloid Neo-Classic Thumbnail inlays, and 22 medium-jumbo frets. A black Plexi pickguard with a white Gretsch logo, G-Arrow control knobs, and die-cast tuners complete the specified hardware package.

No vehicle-style installation or external power wiring is required. Connect the guitar's standard instrument output to a guitar amplifier, pedal chain, audio interface, or DI setup with an appropriate 1/4-inch instrument cable, then set the pickup selector and onboard controls to suit the rig. The factory string specification is nickel-plated steel in .010-.046 gauges; setup adjustments should be performed by a qualified guitar technician when changing string gauge or action preferences.
