The Gretsch G5022CE Rancher is a right-handed jumbo acoustic-electric guitar designed for players who want an acoustic instrument that can also connect to an amplified performance setup. Its large jumbo body supports a broad, full acoustic voice for strumming, accompaniment, and ensemble use. The Venetian-style cutaway also provides access to upper frets for leads and higher-position chords.

A solid spruce top and scalloped X bracing form the core of the guitar's acoustic construction. Laminated flame maple back and sides complement the spruce top, while the mahogany neck provides a traditional acoustic-guitar feel. The result is a distinctive Rancher design built around projection, clarity, and visual character.

The G5022CE uses Gretsch's recognizable triangular Rancher sound hole and tortoiseshell-style pickguard with Gretsch logo. Its Savannah Sunset finish, gold-plated hardware, and pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays give the instrument a vintage-inspired appearance. A gloss polyester finish is used on both the body and neck.

For amplified use, the guitar includes an active Fishman Presys III pickup system with onboard preamp and tuner. Volume, bass, middle, and treble controls allow practical adjustment at the instrument, while the low-battery indicator helps monitor the preamp power status. This makes the G5022CE suitable for direct connection to an acoustic amplifier, PA system, or compatible acoustic-guitar DI setup.

The 25-inch scale length, 12-inch laurel fingerboard radius, and 21 vintage-style frets provide familiar playing dimensions for many acoustic guitarists. Its compensated synthetic bone saddle is intended to support accurate intonation across the fingerboard. Players can use it as a standalone acoustic guitar, then add amplification when rehearsal, recording, or live performance calls for it.

No permanent installation is required because this is a self-contained acoustic-electric guitar. For amplified use, connect the onboard Fishman system to a compatible acoustic amplifier, PA input, or acoustic DI signal chain, then use the onboard volume and EQ controls as needed.
