The Gretsch G5031FT Rancher is a right-handed dreadnought acoustic-electric guitar designed for players who want an acoustic instrument with a distinctive visual identity and straightforward amplified capability. Its full-size dreadnought body supports strong acoustic projection for strumming, accompaniment, and singer-songwriter performance. The built-in Fideli'Tron pickup adds an electric output option for rehearsal rooms, stage rigs, and recording setups.
A solid spruce top works with flame maple back and sides to provide the instrument's acoustic foundation. Scalloped X bracing supports the top while helping it respond to playing dynamics. The traditional triangular Rancher sound hole gives this model its unmistakable Gretsch character.
The G5031FT uses an iso-chamber-mounted Fideli'Tron pickup and a top-mounted master volume control. This simple control layout lets players adjust output level directly from the guitar when connected to an appropriate acoustic amplifier, DI, or other instrument-level input. It is suited to players who prefer a direct amplified sound without a complex onboard control panel.
A mahogany neck, 25-inch scale length, and 12-inch fingerboard radius create a familiar playing platform for chord work and lead lines. The 16-fret laurel fingerboard carries pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail position inlays. A synthetic bone nut and compensated synthetic bone saddle support practical tuning and intonation performance.
Gold-plated hardware, white binding, a tortoiseshell pickguard, and the Sunburst finish give the Rancher a vintage-inspired presentation. It can function as a primary acoustic-electric guitar or as a visually distinctive addition to a live or studio instrument collection. For amplified use, connect its pickup output to compatible instrument-level gear and set gain appropriately for the connected system.

Design & Installation
The G5031FT combines a gloss polyester-finished solid spruce top with laminated flame maple back and sides, a mahogany neck, laurel bridge, and laurel fingerboard. White body, neck, headstock, and sound-hole binding complement its Sunburst finish, tortoiseshell pickguard, and gold-plated hardware. Deluxe die-cast tuning machines and Gretsch knurled strap retainer knobs complete the hardware package.
No vehicle-style installation is required; this is a fretted acoustic instrument. For amplified playing, use a standard compatible instrument cable from the guitar's pickup output to an acoustic amplifier, mixer input through a DI, or recording interface with an appropriate instrument input. An optional Gretsch G6293 dreadnought hardshell case or G2186 dreadnought gig bag may be used for transport.
