The Fender Player II Stratocaster HSS is a right-handed solid-body electric guitar finished in 3-Color Sunburst. A contoured alder body provides the classic Stratocaster body shape and a comfortable playing profile. The maple neck uses Fender’s Modern "C" shape, satin urethane on the back, and a gloss urethane headstock face. Its slab rosewood fingerboard has rolled edges, a 9.5-inch radius, and 22 medium-jumbo frets for a familiar contemporary Fender feel.

The Player Series Alnico V single-coil neck and middle pickups deliver traditional Strat-style clarity, while the Player Series Alnico II bridge humbucker adds a fuller bridge voice. A five-position blade switch provides dedicated bridge, middle, and neck selections along with two combined pickup settings. Separate tone controls support adjustment of the neck/middle and bridge pickup groups.

Its two-point synchronized tremolo uses bent steel saddles and a standard tremolo arm for pitch effects. Fender ClassicGear tuning machines, a synthetic bone nut, and .009-.042 nickel-plated steel strings complete the factory hardware setup. The 25.5-inch scale length retains the familiar response associated with a full-scale Stratocaster.

This guitar can serve as a flexible front end for a practice amp, pedalboard, recording interface, or stage amplifier. The humbucker bridge position broadens the available gain-ready sounds while the single-coils preserve the traditional Strat pickup layout. Design & Installation

The Player II Stratocaster HSS uses an alder Stratocaster body with a gloss polyester finish, a maple neck, and a slab rosewood fingerboard. Nickel/chrome hardware, a 3-ply parchment pickguard, aged-white controls, and a four-bolt neck plate complement the 3-Color Sunburst finish. The neck is built with a four-bolt standard construction and a head-adjust single-action truss rod.

For setup, connect the guitar’s output to an amplifier, pedalboard, or recording interface with a standard instrument cable. The factory strings are Fender USA 250L nickel-plated steel in .009-.042 gauges, and the truss rod uses a 3/16-inch hex adjustment. Fender lists a compatible Classic Series Stratocaster/Telecaster wood hardshell case and FE1225 electric guitar gig bag separately; neither is included.
