The Rockford Fosgate RNGR18-CAPM2 is a loaded rear audio cap designed to expand a compatible Polaris Ranger roof-audio setup. It replaces the blank rear cap supplied with RNGR18-ROOF2M2 and RNGR18-ROOF4M2 roof systems. The assembly adds rear-firing sound, integrated lighting, cargo illumination, and a backup camera in one vehicle-specific enclosure.

This add-on is intended for Ranger owners who already have a compatible Rockford Fosgate all-in-one roof system and want more sound coverage behind the cab. Four 8-inch M2-8HB horn-loaded Color Optix speakers are driven by an internal M5-800X4 four-channel amplifier. The result is a purpose-built rear-audio expansion rather than a universal soundbar or standalone stereo system.

The system is rated at 800 watts total dynamic power and uses a Class AD marine-grade amplifier with four channels. Its horn-loaded 2-way speakers are designed for clear projection in open-cab and outdoor environments. This cap is not a complete standalone Ranger audio system; it requires an existing RNGR18-ROOF2M2 or RNGR18-ROOF4M2 roof audio system. It mounts through the vehicle's OEM mounting locations with minimal disassembly, and the supplied roof system provides the hardware used to secure the rear cap.
