Rockford Fosgate M2WL-10H 10" Horn-Loaded Tower Speakers

The Rockford Fosgate M2WL-10H is a pair of white 10-inch marine wake tower speakers built for boats and select UTV applications. Each loaded enclosure combines a full-range 10-inch driver with a horn tweeter to project music across open water or other outdoor environments. They are intended for listeners who need more reach than conventional in-boat speakers can provide.

The horn-loaded 2-way design is tuned for open-air use, where wind, engine noise, and distance can make music harder to hear. With 300 watts RMS handling per speaker and 97 dB sensitivity, the pair is suited to a properly matched marine amplifier. Their 4-ohm nominal impedance makes amplifier matching straightforward for a dedicated stereo channel pair.

Color Optix RGB illumination adds customizable accent lighting to the system. The speakers work with the Rockford Fosgate PMX-RGB Color Optix controller and RF Connect app, sold separately, for lighting control. Integrated connections support clean wiring through the clamp or direct into the enclosure.

These wake cans use Element Ready construction for marine exposure, including UV-resistant materials and an IPX6 water-intrusion rating. The sealed high-density ASA enclosures and corrosion-resistant hardware are designed for saltwater or freshwater environments. White stainless-steel grilles are installed, while white sport grilles are also included for a different appearance.

The M2WL-10H pair is an effective addition to a marine audio system that already has a compatible source unit, amplifier, and power infrastructure. Universal clamps fit 1.5-inch to 3-inch bars and provide 360-degree positioning for wake, surf, and ski towers or suitable roll cages. The supplied wiring harnesses, clamps, inserts, and installation tools support a complete tower-speaker installation.

Design & Installation

Each speaker is housed in a sealed high-density ASA enclosure and uses an injection-molded mineral-filled polypropylene cone with UV inhibitors. The cone uses a co-molded thermo-plastic elastomer surround and Rockford Fosgate's VAST surround geometry. Stainless hardware, sealed connectivity, and an IPX6 water-intrusion rating support marine installation conditions.

Use the supplied universal clamps for tower or roll-cage bars measuring 1.5 to 3 inches in diameter, and check full swivel clearance before tightening the mount. The pair includes 6-pin Deutsch/Amphenol harnesses for speaker and RGB wiring; speaker leads are 18 AWG and lighting leads are 22 AWG. RGB lighting requires a 9-16 VDC supply and a 1-amp recommended fuse, while PMX-RGB lighting control is purchased separately.
