The JS3Q uses a gloss-finished poplar Concert Bass body with a quilted maple art-grain top, black hardware, and no pickguard. Its fully bound maple neck has a satin finish, white binding, pearloid sharkfin inlays, and a pointed Jackson 4-in-line headstock. Black pickup covers and dome-style control knobs complete the coordinated appearance.

This is a right-hand electric bass intended to connect to compatible bass amplification or recording equipment.
